A New Wood-Fired Outdoor Sauna Completes the Matri House Experience
From summer 2026 onwards, Matri House offers guests an even more complete and authentic stay with the addition of a cosy wood-fired outdoor sauna. Nestled within the peaceful surroundings of our historic garden, the sauna can be booked separately by guests staying at Matri House.
Take time to slow down and experience the timeless tradition of a Finnish sauna at your own pace. After a relaxing sauna session, unwind in the tranquil garden, spend a peaceful evening at Matri House, or retreat to your comfortable Matri bed for a restful night’s sleep.
Surrounded by lush greenery, the sauna offers a private setting with inviting terraces for relaxation. Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, or celebrating a special occasion with exclusive use of the house, it provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Mathildedal.
